Yuri Suzuki has unveiled his latest installation piece titled Sonic Bloom in Brown Hart Square inside the heart of Mayfair.
Sonic Bloom is a multi-sensorial installation piece which explores the sounds of London and the community via a cluster of primary coloured horn shaped tubes. The objective is to help Londoners re-connect with the city and each other via sound and communication.
For those unable to travel into London to experience the colourful structure, a digital element has also been incorporated. Peoples voices will be recorded and then transformed into flower animations which will be made available for people to listen to on a website in September.
The installation opened on the 23rd of August just off Oxford Street station, where it shall remain for the next 12 months.
