Instrmnt Applied Design ( I- AD) is a Glasgow based multi-disciplinary design studio who specialise and focus on creating industrial goods.

Founded by designers Pete Sunderland and Ross Baynham, their studio launched in 2014 with one product, Instrmnt 01, a minimalist steel watch.

Their wet-pressed moulded bamboo pulp, which was designed in house to protect their watch components, gives a great insight into their consideration for materiality and its importance.

They have also recently ventured into furniture and designed a limited edition run of Glasgow-built lounge chairs.
