Here at MONC we're inspired by the unique work of self-taught furniture designer EJR Barnes.

His approach to designing is fearless and experimental, working out how to do things through online videos and tutorials. As a result, the techniques and materials he employs are unexpectedand wide-ranging, creatingdreamlike and whimsical forms.

While the outcome of his designs are creative and conceptual, every piece remains entirely functional.
