The conscious collection:
An eyewear revolution

THE PROBLEM

The majority of eyewear frames around the world are cut from a sheet material – acetate. Up to 80% of this material is either wasted in landfill, or incinerated by factories around the world during the eyewear production process, causing harm to the natural environment.

OUR SOLUTION

To change the way that eyewear is produced...for good. We have sourced sustainable alternatives for all the materials that go into our eyewear.

BIO-ACETATE FRAME

Bio acetate is sourced and made in Italy, from sustainable plant cellulose from cotton and wood pulp.

ORGANIC COTTON

Fibres from seed.

Plant Cellulose

From broad leaf trees.

WOOD PULP

From conifers.

CELLULOSE CLEANING CLOTH

Instead of using standard (plastic) polyester microfibre cloths, we have chosen to use cellulose fibres to make glasses cleaning cloths that if lost or disposed, will bio-degrade.
