Are You Mad is the world’s first high-street plastic recycling studio, experimenting within an urban retail community. The team explore what can be done with surplus materials that would usually end up in landfill, by merging waste and creativity. 

They’ve transformed 800kg of plastic waste to create their conceptual retail space and over the last few months they've been collecting plastic waste from local businesses, residents and passers-by. They then sort, clean and mould this waste on-site to create furniture and design lead products that are available to purchase inside the store.
