Every year Shutterstock data analysts and design experts sift through data to reveal what colours the design world is gravitating towards next. The stats are based on millions of images downloaded from around the world, wherein each individual pixel shade is tallied.

They have just released their 'Colour Trends' for 2022 and is filled with minimal, nostalgic and tranquil shades and tones. Have a look for yourself.

This years report centres on serenity, intimate natural hues and how they evoke certain emotions within us.

Colour selection includes 'Pacific Pink' , 'Velvet Violet', 'Calming Coral' and the ever powerful shade that is Green.
