As we're entering our fourth week of lockdown in the UK, it's safe to say we're all in need of a change of scenery. This week we stumbled across WindowSwap, a quarantine project set up by Sonali Ranjit and Vaishnav Balasubramaniam.

WindowSwap lets us 'open a window' to picturesque views all over the world - anywhere from a mountainous view in New Zealand to an urban landscape from a balcony in New York.

Sonali and Vaishnav call it "a place on the internet where all we travel hungry fools share our 'window views' to help each other feel a little bit better till we can (responsibly) explore our beautiful planet again."

All you have to do is record a 10 minute, horizontal HD video of your view with part of your window frame in the shot.

The site is free to use - all they ask for in return is a little support in the form of coffee or a monthly donation.
