What is your warranty policy?

At MONC we believe in fewer better things, it's important to us that your frames will last you as long as possible. This is why each one of our frames comes with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase covering against any manufacturer fault or defect.

Please note, all claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase and can be submitted via email to info@monclondon.com.

Can you repair my MONC frames?

We know your frames see a lot and sometimes this can be a breakage. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with a repairs enquiry at repairs@monclondon.com, we can then asses the damage and work out the best steps for giving your frames a second chance.

Here are the repair services we offer:

  • Prescription lens replacement
  • Replacing mineral glass lenses
  • Broken/damaged hinges
  • Ultra Sonic frame cleaning
  • Polishing scratched frames
  • Damaged temples (arms)
  • Reshaping stretched or twisted frames
What is the cost of repair?

Once you've contacted us we can take a closer look at your frames & decide next steps. It is then we will be able to provide a more accurate repair quote. minor adjustments and screw replacements will always be free of charge. More complex services start at £50, this can change depending on the nature of the damage. 
How long will my repair take?

After assessing your frame we are able to provide an accurate timeline of the repairs process, this should typically be around 1-4 weeks. This lead time can vary depending on the complexity of your repair and our current workload. We always aim to get your frames back to you as soon as possible without compromising quality.

Can I clean my frames from home?

The best thing to clean your frames from home is with water and a very clean cloth. Be sure to make sure the frame is completely dry after cleaning. 

Can my prescription lenses be changed?

For us, hearing that you would like to replace your prescription lenses is great news! This means you want to keep hold of your frames, this is always our aim.Whether you'd like to fit a new prescription or your current lenses are scratched, we can replace them for you.

How do I know what prescription lenses to order?

For our house Single Vision Spectacle lenses we recommend and use the following based on your sphere values. Sphere values are marked SPH on your prescription:

  • For sphere values (SPH) up to +/-3, we use  1.6 lens designed for basic prescriptions. (+£50)
  • For sphere values (SPH) between +/- 3 and 5, we use 1.67 lens designed for medium prescriptions. (+£100)
  • For sphere values (SPH) between +/- 5 and 8, we use 1.74 lens designed for stronger prescriptions. (+£150)

If you are looking to order progressive / varifocal lenses please get in touch either by phone or email, this process requires some help from our retail team to ensure prescriptions are processed correctly.

We also offer a range of coatings for your lenses, including a blue light filter. coatings. You can add this option to your order when checking out. If you have any questions about coatings please email us at info@monclondon.com.

My glass lenses have cracked, can they be replaced?

We absolutely can replace your mineral glass lenses, however our stock for particular frames can vary, please reach out at repairs@monclondon.com about availability.
